Skydive Burnaby Presents - Jump for an Angel 2009

RESULTS FOR OUR 2009 EVENT - This year we raised over $1400 - Thank you to all our Jumpers.

My 6 year old daughter Emily suffers from a rare genetic neurological disorder. She developed normally until she was 1 and then lost her skills. She cannot walk, talk or even use her hands. She is fed through a tube in her stomach and has a high risk from many other health complications including epilepsy.

We affectionately call these girls Silent Angels.

Our fundraising goals are to help bring awareness to the 1 in 15,000 girls that have Rett Syndrome, help with family support and fund research here in Ontario and Canada. Canada has some of the best doctors in the Rett research field and they need all our help to continue the break-through research.

On Saturday August 15th, 2009, Skydive Burnaby held our 3rd annual Jump for an Angel Charity Event in Wainfleet, Ontario. We raised $1400 after expenses, with only 4 jumpers! Which is a huge success for a one day event that involved minimal participants.
